What is the difference between these 2 boxes? I know that the A750 need's a evolution iconector and is an older box, but outwith that what is the advantages of the A780? Also do you flash them with the same firmware or is it different firmware for each box? Thanks for taking the time to read.

A750 needs the Iconnector and so is messy, its an older box which works the same. The advantage A780 has over it is clutter. Forget about A750 if I were you. The firmware is different by the way.

jodav :)

Thats enough for me, thanks. Think i'll go for A780, just they seem hard to come by, there were a few on ebay the other day but seem to have sold quickly. Is ebay best place to buy? it seems the only place i can find them tbh. Will continue to do my homework in meantime :)

If poss I would go down that sat route as this box is very glitchy as I have had one before n3 Kicked in thenbought I connecter to bring it back to life again ,but one thing for sure atleast the krypt boys do give you the firmware even for their oldest boxes unlike other lot

This could be another option, what box would you recommend Thing is dish would have to go on roof of a 3 storie tenement, there are no chimneys to fix dish to so it is a more complex setup, tiles would have to be drilled through etc. Also was told having dish on roof could be a pain due to wind etc, i will look into it also though.

When you say glitchy is it a pain in the ar*e? Seems most people in here are happy. I dont watch lots and lots of tv, but i would be hoping for it to work ok 95% of the time. I had a starview around 5 years ago which would go down now and again, but was managable and got great value for money. Hopefully Kryptview is similar to the experience i had with starview, if so i will be happy with my purchase.

But before i go ahead i will do a wee bit of research on Sat route, most people seem to talk about the blade box, i will have a look thanks :)

have a look at the smaller f3 box its a simple box and HD as well "DONT" buy a krypt A750 they are an old cable box fi you are going back to cable look for the A780 box which you can get from topsat or the f3 or blade from dcreceivers who are both reputable company's dont use flebay thats for sure.
