Hi!
Have made the mistake of buying a used focus, sat about then owner took out & charged battery... He also gave me a mark 2 focus manual. eejit
Anyhow, radio locked out, serial m159262 type 6000ne. please can someone help - i can deal with no heaters, but I do need music!

Don't forget to have s good look around, there is a lot more to learn then just what your radio code is.

Good morning, I've got the same issue. Any help would be appreciated. Car now starts easily since glow plug change but now no radio and code which came with the car isn't working!
The serial number given in the audio guide is M175435 unit type 6000cd although unit type on sticker in guide is FD 600A.

Hi aloysius, that is the code given in our ford handbook but its not working! Only thing I can think of is that we had the speedo cluster changed a couple of years ago. Doyou think thatcould of affected it? Thank you foryour resonse.

that is the master code for that serial (make sure you are inputting code correctly)
if it doesn't work then more than likely the radio has been re-coded which means the only way to get code is from EEPROM dump file but to get and read dump is a specialists job
 
Oh bugger. Cheers for the info. Will get onto the dealer. It's the code they gave us and there the only ones who've worked on the car. Will let you know.

Hello awesome people! finally got round to taking a CD player out. We bought a 2nd hand transit can with a 6000 CD (volume knob in the middle - unlike my mondeo which has the old version of the radio with the same model number????)

Anyway is there any chance we can grab the code for the serial number: V017865

Everyone elses serial number seem to start with M? this one starts with V???
Its says "Single CD - GGDS"

Hi I've lost my radio after taking of the battery to charge it can you please help me get my code for the radio. I've just struggled to get it out of the dash to read the number on the side and its m153947.
