ffs.... im putting money on the sports going by the new season too... looks like an hour of editing up a channel list before i go work

Yip. I reckon the plan would be to have Sports moved last BUT by the beginning of the new football season. But hey guys, as long as they leave sd alone we'll still have our sports and everything else, albeit in a lesser quality than we've become accustomed to.
 
SD here we come, I will miss SD, but to be fair most of the mainstream tv stations are in HD on freeview, I can live with SD, and if I want to watch a movie I have Netflix, just the sports will be a pain.

People getting "told" a lot of stuff by "someone"

Truth is, NOBODY actually knows until its actually happened, too much speculation and guesswork leading to too many stupid posts.

If you dont know, dont post and dont ask, coz nobody knows.

It WILL end, but when ? maybe tomorrow, maybe in 50 years, just enjoy what you have now, worry about what "might" happen, when it happens.

incorrect but believe what you want...I'll keep everything to myself in future. if you read through the thread you'll see what I've said. wasnt one of those panicking when HD channels started to fall. Knew the script from day 1, HD will go off, SD will stay. Others thought everything will go within a month, others thought HD will come back on. People do make me laugh on here.
FYI this process started 18+ months ago. Wasnt a HD switch sly flicked last month. Those in the know (not myself), werent surprised one bit when the channels started going off one by one.
 
Of course only the bigwigs at sly know. They are the ones doing it. They will know when and what time channels are going.

Wouldn't be surprised though if stopping the HD channels ability to be shared is a happy coincidence on their part from upgrading the infrastructure. Surely the amount of money they receive from subs they could switch the whole lot off it they wanted.

I'll miss HD but that's what Torrents are there for also lol ;)
