Channels down Sky Arts 1+2 HD/History HD/Crime HD/Nat Geo HD

Just heard from my server that no other hd channels will be going inc sports as sly have run into alot of problems changing codec and considering changing back to old codec
 
Hope your right, it would explain as to why none vanished last week? could just be a tease, then the lot go.


Lets hop they give in and leave things be ;)
 
I'd say your supplier is in denial To get more revenue in. Sky Italia didn't have problems nor Australians either

Well done gillster11. Things been fine for a couple of weeks. Then you mention no more going and within a couple of hours 4 more HD channels are gone:whacko:

i give up last week i just watch all sly channels in sd. all fta which i watch most of we still have hd anyway. we may have a fix in six months or so just have to wait and see. lets face it your server is still value for money without the Hd
 
Will keep using the HD until it goes could still be a fair amount if time but will defo be redoing the channel list taking off the HD movies.

It is value for money,just with SD... i pay £4 a month,

i don't mind watching movies and TV in SD.. but the football is a different thing.....
i love the footy in HD,....looks like sky will be getting my money in the new season.

I completely agree, I can do with most things in SD but not sports, hopefully a fix can be found and implemented soon!
 
Sly will be changing their codec back in the next few months as this is only a trial and sports wont be going that im sure of sly having to many problems at their end dishing this out so don't worry plus a fix is on the way soon in the meantime and will be dished out threw a new firmware update but probably hit uk last as there is one already for Polsat being tested and works
 
Interesting..... How sure of this are u gillster???? Not doubting ure knowledge but 99 per cent of people on here saying HD is dead

You can all doubt my knowledge if you want but you will all come back on here and say i was right but we all gotta be patient and HD is not dead and sd will always be there
 
A load of movie HD channels now gone! Hope the sports HD stay otherwise just SD remains which I will have to live with until a possible fix can be found!!! Good while it lasted....
