What have you paid for a VM line for 6/12 months?

I have VM Broadband and looking on there site I could get Freeview HD box for free off there website. I have the Zgemma s2 at the moment but would love HD channels.

Off topic question > Is it you just need the cable line installed from VM and then buy the H1 and flash and buy a VM line from here and away you go?
 
Use a splitter on your incoming feed.
run one to router and one to your box.
Buy a cable gift,install.

im on a zgemma h1 aswell

as for the cable here goes on my explanation

virgin comes into your house and it is through the wall and has a white cover with a screw F Type connection on it
Take a fly lead from here and add a 2 way splitter
like this

if running to one tv and one router then you are done

if you are going to add in an exta tv you will need
a 3 way or 4 way splitter
or you can do it with 2 2 ways run the cable to the back of the box and put a 2 way on and continue to next tv

this wont affect any broadband etc you have installed

F Type connectors, i use twist on ones

i have linked to screwfix because they are everywhere and i dont like waiting for deliverys

edit : a fly lead is a short lead with 2 f connectors i woul mount next to where the supply comes through the wall and then you dont need to run a new cable to the router
 
it's something I'm interested in just not for a few month. But really do want the HD channels. Would possibly swap boxes with someone on here if they bought the wrong box but that's a long shot.

do you get the same amount of channels from on both Sly and VM?

reason I ask is Sly have solighty more channels then VM in terms of having them as providers. Just wondered if that is reflected on these boxes

I have a eurovox , and I will even through in a old starview with no remote if your interested !!!
