If for some reason the OTA update fails, you can manually download the update files and follow this guide to do a manual update:

Use Wipe data and Wipe media IF you want to make a clean installation
(This will delete all the settings on your WeTek)

- Fix bug with delete button:
- Use long press button "delete" to take a screenshot
- Add Hungarian language

WeUpdate:
- Improvements on Turkish translation

WeTek Theater:
- Fix DVB-T 7M Bandwidth issue
- Changes for LNB power off on exit(s)
- Switch off LNB before standby
- Update SAT and SRV table after merge
- Fixed crash ATSC tunner when start theater
- Mask ATSC subtitle
- Add Russian and Ukrainian translation
- Fix DVTplayer crashing (back to launcher black & need double exit)
- Disable MultipleFrequency function
- Improvements for Australian users

Launcher:
- Add TalkBack in Launcher's Main screen

Update Apps:
- New KODI 15.2
- GAPPS
- Aptoide
- others apps

On a Clean installation:
- YouTube for Google TV (discontinued version) Deleted
- Skype Deleted
- Box Deleted
- Chrome Deleted
- ES File Explorer Deleted
After this new installation finishes, please turn off your WeTek.
After turning on, please make a reboot, for the apps ti update properly

Seen these boxes advertised, what can they do ?

What is the difference between a £25 MXQ box and these ?

I see they can take sat and cable tuners, can you put a line in them and use them like sat or cable boxes ?

I get the impression that they are a sort of Hybrid Kodi / sat or cable box.

Finally, what does the WeTech online function do ?

I would be grateful for any info as I don't know anyone using these at the mo.

i have one here, its a pos imho the kodi side works but the sat side was hit and miss. the thing has been in its box waiting for the guy who wanted me to set it up 4 months ago. shows he don't care

i would not touch any kodi/sat combos as i have been burnt with the as100 model and a k box

If you go here WeTek - Wetek Play and scroll down you c an read all the information you need. also if i can give you an opinion.

wetek openelec is on sale now because of the black friday so you should take advantage of it.

you can do a lot with these boxes, you can watch your favourite shows, series, music iptv.

there are so many things for you discover, you should give it a try.

also you can connect very easly your wetek sibnce it has easy tuners to use.

And any quaestion just ask in there forum because there support is simply genial

im running pbenigma2 img on cable with full kodi on the enigma2
with the new sky skin by kiddac
cable tunner bit week
ftp your line in to oscam
setting up the enigma2 side is more or less the same as any enigma2 box

make sure you have a class 10 micro sd card
