Download skin ipk from first post then ftp to your box var/volatile/tmp then if using vix goto menu > setup > vix > install local extention click the ipk on screen you just put in the tmp folder. It will install once complete goto menu > setup > system > user interface > skin setup and select the slyk skin you just installed and reboot your box!

Install info is all on the first post!

Thanks for your reply.
So from DCC centre I go into var/volatile/tmp and copy the file into this area. Then follow the Vix set you suggested above.
Can I not just copy the file onto the usb and just flash?

Bacause those instructions are for VIX not atv follow below for atv all this info is on first post mate.

To install
ftp the IPK file over to your temp folder. var/volatile/tmp

Menu... setup... software management... install local extension
memory/tmp
Press ok on the package
press green to install.

This topic needs a clean up because too many people asking stupid questions that answers can be found by either the first page of this thread or by searching using the search box above.

new infobar is probably going to look like this. No hbbtv icon, removed the SNR gauge bar, Tuner A, B, C, D included. Picon will be optional. Removed by default.

You can't really notice much difference from this screen shot, but this is the new EPG. Sharper graphics. Slightly amended Icons. Smaller picon/default logo. Change in font sizes. Change in info button icon

When you want to creat a New AutoTimer from scratch, it is a problem:

delete.jpg

They were advertising David Bechkam's documentary/7 games for charity but the date is AFTER 7 days so I wanted to create an AutoTimer that looks for it in the 7day guide everyday so that it records when it on 29th.
Unfortunately the above screen is what appears when I go into AutoTimers and press Blue to create a new autotimer. Only on slyk-1-hd skin. seems fine on other skins.

I have also decided to move the multiepg event view down to the bottom instead of at the top.

johnjohns thanks for that. Had to dig deep into the autotimers components to find that as it doesn't seem to be referenced in default skin or metrix skin.

Anyway until I fix it paste the following into wizards.xml. I have just botched this together in 5 minutes so its not perfect but usable.

<screen name="AutoTimerWizard" position="fill" title="Welcome..." flags="wfNoBorder" backgroundColor="black">
<panel name="main-bg" />
<panel name="DefaultLogo" />
<panel name="Home" />
<panel name="Template1-TimeDatePanel-nopig" />
<widget name="text" position="150,140" size="730,250" font="skymed;22" transparent="1" foregroundColor="white" backgroundColor="skydarkblue"/>
<widget source="list" render="Listbox" position="250,400" size="630,220" selectionPixmap="myselectbars/bar-30.png" transparent="1" backgroundColor="skydarkblue" itemHeight="30" foregroundColorSelected="skydarkblue" backgroundColorSelected="skygold" scrollbarMode="showOnDemand">

Looks mega!

With regards to the info bar, any chance the tuners (A,B,C,D) would look a little neater if they were next to the "Dolby Digital" bit. I also enjoyed the start time of the next program being shown in the info bar. Could the time elaspsed bar be moved left next to the "started at" to make room...something like this...

actually that is obviously an old photoshop template I am using. The next program time will still be were it is now. The progress bar is meant to be in the block above. There is also the hidden record icon that goes next to the other icons too. I suppose I could put the tuners in the icon row.

your design actually makes more sense as the progess bar is for the now programme.

Other people have just put text after the now program like below.
