I almost gave up, Bees was a legend with all his help. I'm not tech minded so I'm just thinking of things that I done. Now I'm up and running I can't believe I didn't do it years ago... It's great
 
Well i had a starview box for yrs but its started switchin off and on so i upgraded. This box is a lot more complicated to set up. It is amazing once you do though altho i only watch footy on it. Jus double checkin in softcam man u only hav one mgcam ticked. Nothing else?
 
i've uploaded the 2 files into the usr/keys folder but my ET10000 is not showing anything in the softcam manager, any ideas why?
 
first thing one is suppose to do first is get network working ,run a network test all green? then download plugins and chose your softcam 1.38 for nlines?

once done then filezilla client sent 2 files to usr/keys called mg_cfg and newcamd.list,once thats done setup your cam via blue button.

who mentioned xtrend 10000 with twin network ports,did you chose one and setup network test to get it to connect?

if you did not download from plugins i would be reflashing again.
 
one reason i keep saying read bees tut and one step at a time and you get it right,no worries we all hurried and fecked up boxes,its human so just start afresh with new flash.

Mr clipperuk. Follow bee's tut. For provider type in your net ID 41069, do this at the stage where you setup your dvb-c tuner A and again when you get to autobouquet maker. At this later stage you need to add your symbol rate 6952 second line from bottom where you have to set the QAM settings to all YES.

Hi guys anyone know what minimum size usb stick I should use. Currently using 8gb to store epg and picons folder. Does the epg data on the usb stick increase or does it overwrite. Thanks.
 
It just overwrites, I have used 2 Gb sicks in the past without any issues,
never checked the file size of the EPG to be honest, you could always stick it in your PC and check.
 
im having trouble with my miraclebox hybrid mini+ getting the autobouquetmaker to download. I just get a timout for tuner lock all the time when trying. I've tried lots of different netids in the autobouquetmaker configuration but still no joy. I've got all the channels just can't organise them neatly.

It may be related but I only have virmin internet into house but have split this into two so one goes into router and other goes into miracle box with coax cable. Could the abm only be provided if I had tv sub to house?
 
I'm pretty sure I've done all of that can you just clarify where that is in the menu breadcrumb for me?

I get two options kabel (nl) which is set to no and cable (uk) which is set to yes with code 6982 for virgin
