hi,need help please.flashed box and followed guide.all working.great.then i had to change to a different hard drive for the recording.followed guide for initialising hard drive then tried to re do the auto bouquets part and now get this error autobouquetsmaker time out for tuner lock.so decided to reflash box and start from begining and still get this error after adding the sky channels(start scan).any ideas.

Either ur using 1 cable and havnt disabled tuner b or ur cables are in wrong or need tightened/re done
 
hi.me again.cross epg got stuck downloading.left it for 45 mins and it never moved.rebooted box and tried to do cross epg again from begining and get crossepg error time out for tuner lock.have re checked connections and they seem fine.
got line over and all channels are working.when recording say itv and watching ch 4 can you still view ch 4.i tried and it gave me an error

Hi all i got my zgemma h2s set up and running with sucmnsee everthing is great except 1 thing all my channels are working except sky sports 4 and 5 anyone know how i can solve this ?
 
Thanks sucansee! Awesome image as usual, just upgraded to your latest version on my H2h. How do you go across tabs in the EPG? Can't get into that part of the menu to tab across if you get me?

Just needed to say a great thanks to sucmnsee for his image ...all done working great and no problems at all even the wife loves it :) just upgrade from the Z2 ..only been using these boxes since December but this forum has been A1 ...to anyone starting my advice is read the forum day by day and use the search facility (solved my problems) ....Again many thanks
 
yes it was cables again.the middle wire had snapped off on one of them.its all working now.thanks for all the help sucmnsee

Im getting a message when recording saying writing error disk full about 10 mins into the recording im using a 300 gb hard drive which i have 299gb free.
 
Is it showing as mounted menu, setup, vix it should show as mount medi/hdd/movie if not reboot and check again if it's still not showing menu, setup, system, storage devices Initialisation Select ur drive Red to initialise.


If it's showing as mount check recordings are saving to your storage device not internal flash. Menu, setup, system, recording and playback settings default movie location should be media/hdd/movie press right to change location then green to save
 
Hey everyone

I am running a Zgemma H.2S (with 2 feeds) with the Sucmnsee skin, but I am noticing after I record something my "Channel Up", "Channel Down" buttons stop working. A circle with a line through it appears in the top corner of the screen. I am 90% sure, pressing numbers does the same thing.

The only way to change a channel is to press the EPG button and find the channel that way.

It always happens after something has been recorded - I will try later to see if it happens also after I play a recording (but even hours after I record something, the same thing happens), and the only way to fix it is to restart the box.

Does this happen to everything or should I change a setting?

Hi Sumnsee, a could days ago in a different thread (which i can't find) you was unsure if the VM skin would freeze and go into a bootloop on your new image, with the channel numbers added etc.
I can confirm that that isn't the case and works well with the VM HD Chababu V1.5 theme.

However the only thing i'm struggling with is getting the SD Card to initialize.
I've tried doing it with the sd card in the slot & the sdcard in a usb adapter - Same result which is Error timeout lapsed, Sorry.

I've discussed the issue HERE and I have read this thread too where the issue was raised.
Has anybody managed to do sort it out?

The SD card is fine, Done a surface scan, no bad blocks.
Micro SD Card 64 GB San Disk
 
Hi all
Just a small issue...a bit of a strange one and I can't understand how it's connected really... But, since I put this build on....my 'info' button now brings up the epg instead of the info?...all other buttons work fine, any ideas?

Try menu, setup, system, user interface, button setup press info select the one that's highlited in yellow writing to remove it then in epg choose show event details then green to save
