Zgemma H2S v VM picture quality

Hi, my current full subscription to VM expires on 2nd Oct so I have been running it in parallel with the Zgemma H2S for a week now, impressed with the Wooshbuild install and general speed of the EPG etc. The only issue I have is with the picture quality in comparison to VM. Interested on peoples thoughts on the slight (5-8%) reduced picture quality (HD & SD) coming through the Sat box/sky dish. Is this a signal strength issue, service provider issue or equipment limitation? Obviously I'm happy with the potential 90% cost reduction compared to VM but quality is important too. Are there any tests I can perform other than visual?

Picture quality seems to be the only downfall with the H2S, I haven't got a Sky/VM subscription but set up a H2S for a friend and noticed the drop in quality against my Amiko Alien 2 (older box same N line)

i suppose it would all depend on the signal? i have just ordered one so when i get it ready, still have active vm line. and going to run my h2s alongside my vm for now

Well I was using the same dish and cable into 2 boxes side by side and noticed the decline in quality. Shame as the H2S is superior to my sluggish Amiko Alien in every other aspect!

I've got a box running to two different TVs.

They are both LED, however one is a bog standard LG and the other is a pretty high spec panasonic smart tv.

The picture looks massively better on the LG TV, the panasonic TV is pixelated etc and I'm guessing its because its doing some processing which is making it look crap!

Not had chance to fiddle around with it yet to see if i can find out what is happening with it.
