V8S Scrambled on 99% of channels

hello everyone. i have a v8s and i have gained some issues. box was working fine up until the carpet fitters sliced the ethernet cable about 6-7months ago. finally got around to replacing the ethernet cable today and upon starting box only channels that will play are your basic bbc 1 & 2 itv etc. All the other channels are 'scrambled' ive run a new channel search and it finds all the channels it should. The satalite im using is the sky uk 28a. Everyrthing in my technical knowledge seems ok but im sure somebody here will tell me how to rectify the issue.

forgive me if the info here is a little short, im not that up to date with openbox tech yet.

any help would be great. thankyou
 
what do you mean by line will be done? and if the server is down, is it something that will fix itself? thanks
 
check that your box is connected to the internet press menu scroll across to network settings check that the ethernet light is on green press ok on set up and that dhcp is applied on
 
Press menu scroll across to network settings scroll down to cccam set up if it is not showing press6666 on your remote control go into cam set up there will be cccam plug and mgcam plug go into cccam fist then mange configuration files check to see if your line is online then go into mgcam plug down to newcamd.list manger configuration files check to see if it is red your line will be in either one if it is off line you need to contact your server provider

is this who gives me the code for the box to work? i bought box last january with a 2 year 'gift/code'
 
2 year code? .. did you get it off ebay by any chance?
if you did I think you may have been cut off like ebay sellers cut everyone off early
you can get a test line from here and get a new sub if you need one

It seems strange that you bought the box & gift last January, and 12 months on you are getting scrambled channels. I hope i`m wrong, but my guess is that you`ve been given 12 months not 24.
 
yes it was from ebay! and yes its strange that 1 year later its scrambled! let me run over all the info and guidance and see where we go from here.. thanks to everyone for your input and i will update here soon.

depends on your budget, if you can afford a little more then get an enigma 2 type box...best budget enigma 2 box is probs a zgemma h2s
 
Go into openbox form and you will get sorted in there watch the openbox YouTube section and you will be good to go

Id personnaly pay a little extra and get a zgemma if you have two feeds from satellite and would love to record one channel while watching another your best going for and zgemma h2s but if your not bothered about recording separate channels or only have one wire from dish go for a zgemma hs
