Hi folks

Wonder if i could pick your brains here. I have flashed a zgemma H2S to wooshbuild. I put in the CCcam line via USB... sound. However, i would rather use the Mgcam line. I wouldn't say im the most technical minded but i downloaded filezilla. I connected my box to it. But what now to enter the mgcam? Cheers folks. Appreciate any input.

Are you using a Nline at present?

First question is does your line start with a C or an N as (I could be wrong) C lines don't work in mgcamd. I've tried and failed before hence me saying. For N lines you'd make a file the same as you did for cccam but call it newcamd.list NOT Cccam.cfg then your best bet is to pop this file on a USB stick and pop it in the front of your box and use usb cam importer (it's called something like that) in menu/plugins. Once successful go to menu/info/softcam and change tuner A cam to mgcamd and restart (green button I think) that should be job done... Sorry if I've missed something working from a failing memory but it should be close enough that you get there as you press the buttons.

Good luck

This is random. I changed the notepad name to newcamd.list i edited the file and changed the N at the start of the line to CWS =
but it wont work (freeze picture). Then when i change it back to CCcam 2.3.0 it works on that. how would i remove the Nline or would that make a difference?

CCcam 2.3.0.is for a N line, if you want to use Mgcamd, then change the N to CWS, I believe the files should already be in the KEYS folder for you to put your line into the newcamd.list...

Ports can change when using different emulators.
Always ask your provider if you want another format.
C lines can run in mgcamd no problem, you just need to know what to do ;-)
