The Vm will only work if your cable line is active with skybroadband it's normally best to go with Vm that way you know the cables activeSo as I know I have an active Virgin connection Can someone confirm the following.
Get a Zgemma H2.h so it's a sky and virgin input
It will work with sky broadband and don't actually need a virgin product
I need to install whoosh when I get it?
I have to purchase a separate gift for sky and virgin.
Cheers for all your help so far guys, appreciate it
If the lines active the cable will work but as your not using Vm they have the right to cut the line if they see its in use amd not being paid forCan't go with VM... I borrowed the modem to see if my line is active which it is, the modem connected to the internet fine.
This is where I'm confused my line exists but I do not have a product. So as I don't have an official product despite the line being active then the H2.H will not work?
If your brother went with Vm it would be the line coming into the property that's live and active nothing to do with equipment thoSo would you go with the h2s then for that reason? I'm tempted to get h2h but I don't want to spend a ton and then have it go down...
Also it just looking at VM terms, there is a section about you cannot move equipment from install location. If my brother purchased a subscription and had the self setup in theory he could install at at my house as that would be the install location. Doesn't say anywhere you have to live at the address your having the service lol
There is a bit saying Home - the residential property where we or you install apparatus and to which we agree to supply the services. Again self install would imo would defer the install location as home.

Modem worked fine :). As I thought it's the mac address's that's active. So as long as the line is connected an authorised MAC address will connect and work fine.
