Really need some help re: WebTV

Hi all,

I rather stupidly agreed to install iptv for a friend on Openbox V8s so they could watch some golf this weekend!

I have done so at home and work myself without any issue. It was EASY.

I know the box is working as I tested it myself and it was fine. I was able to install the webtv.3mu file and channel list appeared however the box will just not stream. It's stuck at 0 and obviously black screen.

I have tested all the cables with their VU solo box and cannot find an issue.

We are based in Ireland and the only difference between their setup and mine is that they are using Vodafone broadband and they have a tp-link? Ethernet connection for their box.

Is it possible Vodafone have blocked access?

When I plug all cables back into their VU Solo they still have access to their old gift so I'm presuming the tp is working fine?

I would be really grateful for any ideas or help!

Hi Anthony 1981 your Openbox V8s? does it have the latest software update to access web tv?
If not, I know a honest & sound Dealer who now sells Openbox V8s web tv updates & iptv
service in-fact he informed my he can provide an Openbox V9 the latest model along with iptv
& VOD for around £67 or even less in other words all the channels & video on demand (VOD)
along with a new receiver & the person in question is as sound as a brand new pound & his
Company accept Paypal not via Friends & Family if you are interested in who to contact &
website let Me know?

Openbox won't always install right away so please reboot it and try again
Also make sure the file is called WebTV.m3u (W and TV in capital and eb in lowercase )

Hi cacawachi
Do i put the m3u file into a folder
Then load the folder onto usb?
Or how do i save the file from supplier assuming it's webtv file
Many thnx

The supplier will send you an m3u link , click it , it will download a channel list , right click then rename it to WebTV.m3u instead of channellistxx.m3u
Then put it in main directory of usb
