Help to insall .ppbck file

Got a line working fine however the epg is not working my supplier has sent me a .ppbck file to update my firestick. .can anyone advise how and where to insall this file. I'm using smartiptv app on firestick..

.ppbck is a Perfect Player backup file, you would need to install Perfect Player for it to work

I have perfect player installed but no idea how to install file..appreciate if you could head me in right direction please..

Go into settings/defaults then choose restore option navigate to the backup file when you click on it perfect player will close and restart with the new settings.

How do I transfer the file from my email to the firestick?

That I don't know, I have my Nvidia shield on the network so I can just use a file manager to grab anything off the network shares.
Maybe you could put the file on Dropbox or something and use FireDL app to download to the firestick
