IPTV - Enigma2 Box

Hi

I have an IPTV subscription which works great, the provider gave me a script to run on my enigma2 box which put the channels in bouquets - works fantastic, however after about 4 days all the bouquets disappear apart from the virgin ones. I can run the script again and it puts them all back in there, again for 4 days only. Has happened for about 2 weeks now.

Anyone any ideas, it isn't a huge problem just a small annoyance?

Thanks in advanced.

When you lose the EPG have you tried restarting your box before doing anything else? This normally pulls the EPG back in.

Hi Leemo, I can't say I have, its not so much the EPG i lose its the entire channel list? So basically I have bouquets for

Entertainment
Sport
Movies
ETC all through my virgin sub

then further down I end up with same categories for IPTV Subscription, its the entire bouquets that disappear from the list, when you press blue for favorites.

Not sure if its a similar thing but I get N/A on some of my channels such as Movies or sports etc as you have mentioned and normally a reboot solves it. For me when I get N/A my provider has mentioned its to do with the internet connection which could mean a number of things but a reboot does normally solve it.

Give it a reboot next time and see if it makes any difference. Fingers crossed its something as simple as that.

Ensure the receiver is connected, successfully, to the network and internet

If you have sky bouquets plugin try unticking every box in there in the show hide section
Then press the red power button on top of remote for a couple of seconds then restart gui

This is what my iptv provider has on their setup guide for enigma box

After a few days, the EPG stops updating and starts disappearing

Solution

The box needs restarting daily to keep all things updated including EPG. Either go to Menu – Standby/Restart – Restart Gui daily

or set up a Power timer to do it automatically go to Menu—Timers – PowerTimers press the green Add button and then change Timer type to reboot system and then when you want it to reboot at.

5: Problem:

You Restart the box and some or all the bouquets are listed as n/a

Solution:

This happens when the box hasn’t had a proper internet connection for whatever reason as the pre-start stage of start-up of the box itself. Check Internet and restart gui.
