Quality of IPTV

Had a test there for a provider, which overall wasn't bad, but when watching the PPV events and several other channels there seemed to be a lot of blockiness to some of the streams, meaning that the stream was highly compressed, has anyone else came across this or am I just being a little bit to picky?

its the nature of IPTV bud,
just think of it as watching analogue TV and you will be fine

Suppose it is like everything, when it is new the quality is great as there isn't that many people doing it, but as time moves along and more people are added the quality drops through time, much like HDTV that isn't full HD, just up scaled to look like HD.

get your test when there is a big football match on,
thats the time when the server will most likely be hammered

It isn't as new as you might think either. It's been around for a good few years now, only become more mainstream because Kodi add ons are dying a death and as we all know Sky cardsharing is on its arse.

I do think eventually, unless a new form of cardsharing emerges, they'll have to improve or die as they invest in better equipment for the masses. Still using CS while it's alive and kicking though!
