Yeah I remember you saying before. I have removed the modem and just put it straight through and the glitching had gone. Weird thing is if I put it back through the router with the splitter but disconnect my net from the PC it works fine. As soon as a connection is made by a device it starts glitching again, be it wireless or Ethernet. Does that still sound like a crap splitter?

Can not do much more now then at the moment, hopefully I can sort a better cable and splitter tomorrow and continue.

Cheers mate. New cables and splitter it is. At least I am crawling with the set up now, as soon as new splitter and cables are connected hopefully running.

Bypassed the splitter mate and just put it direct from the feed. Modem is upstairs anyhow and the box is for down. I just put the cable in without a splitter and now have great 1 to 5 no glitch. Just need a test line then learn to put that on now.

Grrrr, more things to learn lol. I need to state if I need a C LINE OR N LINE? Which one can just go on usb so its easy?

You're heading in the right direction then :)

I'm honestly not too sure on that cam importer method as I always just add the line over the network - it can be either a c or n line.

Take a look at the video in this thread for adding it over the network.

Will do. When I tried last week with the network way I was having trouble opening the box in filezilla. Should know all this, used to do PS3 games over network. Guess I have no patience for things like this no more lol.
 
You don't need to use FileZilla - the box will show on your pc network (watch the video ;))

Life saver, I turned on network sharing and boom I am in the box.

Sorry to be a pain, in keys I only have two files I am missin CCcam and newcamd. Will I be given them files?
 
Possibly or you can simply make them yourself using notepad ... just be sure to select all file types before pressing save.

Excellent mate. Got a test up and running. Without this guide I would have been banging my head against a wall :)

Changed from Bio head image to Wooshbuild. All working fine apart from the clock display is just showing 00 all the time. Any ideas? Thanks
 
is the wooshbuild compatitable with the zgemma star lc as i cannot work out which file to grab thanks in advance

Over your PC network, as long as you have network discovery turned on on your PC, your zgemma will be visible and you'll be able to access it.

network discovery is on but the zgemma isn't appearing. even though it's hardwired.
