Hi,

I have had a couple of trials over the past few days and most of them seem very similar.

However all of them are asking for payment via Bank Transfer or PayPal - Friends and Family, even some people requesting this are are TK Veterans.

The forum sticky states you should never pay via Friends and Family, but do many people pay by Friends and Family?

To me taking a month subscription to really test a line @ £10 isn't a lot, but personally this is putting me off and don't know whether they are trustworthy.

Stick with long term members, they aren't going to risk getting banned for a paltry sum of money
fly by nights who've been around a few weeks or months have nothing to lose
 
Forget the £10 monthly thing..

I am asking in general, about paying via Friends and Family? Should people on this forum only be taking payment by this method?

Should I pay via Friends and Family, if this is the only method they will accept?
 
Ive paid through paypal f+f and also through paypal goods where i paid the paypal fees. In my personal experience your always better to go with vip or vets on here, as new members could be anyone as i found out. Dont go for new members as peter dilworth is knocking about again
 
I pay my supplier by f&f and I don't have any problems. I just paid for 1 month so at least if it went wrong it wasn't a huge amount of money.

Like i said in my reply, you've got to use your own common sense
paying a VIP or Veteran by F&f is obviously gonna be safer than sending the same payment to someone who joiined half an hour ago
 
I pay by bank transfer and have never had any problems but as other members say, stick with VIP or Veteran and you will be fine.

Who is the more TRUSTED & WHY?
How can you separate this users details, to my details & How can you trust this person more purely against a NAME on there profile & having more Messages on the forum, which in turn will give you more Likes Received.
Answers on a stamped addressed postcard and send to Ain't got a frikin clue? PO BOX - Not a Scooby!!
Your comments and Theory's regarding VIP & VET are Non Founded

You've not been here half an hour then, which is obvious to anyone with a modicum of common sense :cool:
 
Everybodys taking a chance, but for me that shows the Tk Vet is more active on the forum, and thats another reason i chose who i did for my lines. So If i ever had an issue id no theyd be on here to help me.
My last supplier would ignore me for weeks

When you were comparing my profile to yours, yes you've been here 3 years more and it would be obvious to anyone even though I've made more posts than you, both of us have more to lose than someone who joined a month or two ago, which is what i meant by, "paying a VIP or Veteran by F&f is obviously gonna be safer than sending the same payment to someone who joined half an hour ago"

I think most people would be bright enough to know this

Yes, I agree, and you where the first name i seen on the post that was a VET, it was not personal etc, Just 1st one in my eye site & picked you as an example.. Sorry if it came across as something else.

I just seem to see many posts on here regarding trusting VETS & VIP's ahead of Every other user who has a lesser Profile Rating. I think this is a little misleading to others, that's what i am trying to get across here mostly.
Yes, i agree that if someone has been on here a month and tries to sell services etc, they will be less trusted. I get that.
 
the trusting VIP's and Vets thing comes from the first post in the request threads, although I know from personal experience that this isn't always a good idea.

Even posters who joined 5 years ago but have made 6 posts in that time fall into the same category - they've obviously no interest in the forum and wouldn't care if they got kicked so length of time shouldn't enter into it IMV.
If someone clicks on the post count of someone they're contemplating doing buisness with, and does 3 minutes research, they'll know who to trust and who to avoid

Nothing misleading there.the powers that be here have been around along time and give you the best advise possible.Some listen others not so much:(
 
My provider only joined on 31 August and has only posted 9 messages. I took a trial......then signed up with him and paid by PP F&f........i took a chance.....stupid some may say.......2.5 months on I'm still happy.....i just pay monthly. Service is spot on!!
