God of War III - no multiplayer?

At this point it seems pretty clear cut that God of War III will NOT have multiplayer.

God of War III will not have PS3 multiplayer, and according to the title's director Stig Asmussen the underlying reason why is that it simply wouldn't fit.

"With God of War 3, there's a story we want to tell and an experience we want to deliver, and multiplayer doesn't fit into that." said the games producer.

this could be good for the game itself, no multiplayer means hopefully a great single player campaign with amazing cut scenes, just finished batman arkum asylum on the 360, fantastic game and no multiplayer,i actually didnt expect this game to have it in the first place, part two had it i presume?

I'm looking forward to a great campaign from GOW III as well, and if no multi-player is how they achieve it, so be it.

No, honestly i wasn't expecting a multi-player option for this one anyway.

I played Arkham for the PS3 and was very pleased with it for what i got to play of it. Five days just isn't enough. :(
