Eirsport blocked for GAA

Dubliner

Newbie
I have a sub and my dad has one also, each from a different provider but I noticed today and yesterday that when I tried to watch the GAA on it that it was blocked but came back straight after, seems a very strange sport to target, an amateur sport at that!

Anyone else experience this? Waiting on provider to come back to me but I just thought I would check here as well.

Thanks

I dont experience any blocking for any other sport, very surprised they targeted the GAA to block, seems bizarre!

Also it is worth noting that Irish customers can pay for Eirsports and receive the GAA with no issues.

we are getting eir sport free here with eir broadband and eir sport 2 was not available to us today for the match . Irish customes are not allowed to view the gaa on eir sport if the coverage is coming from tg4.

Ah right that’s fair enough, I watched the buildup today then it just went blank.

Thanks for clarifying

I've a very good Iptv subscription & I don't have this problem on eir sport always watch the GAA matche's , it depends who you have subscription with!

You sure about this? Did you watch Kerry v Donegal on Sunday with no issues?

Are you based in Ireland?

The gaa is fine when its on eir sports 1 . When its on eirsport 2 and the coverage is from tg4 with english commentary its blocked .

Didn't satlover123 above answer this question already? If your provider is giving you an Irish based version of eir it will not allow you to watch a game while it's in tg4. Solution = change station to tg4 and brush up on your gaelige. Otherwise find a different supplier with a UK version of eir.

The match was not on live on tg4 but deferred coverage was on later on that channel.

Anyway satlover did answer my question yes but I was responding to another poster who was saying there is no issues with this which I questioned that is all.
