How to find the original server.

Hi, I got 4 connections from what now appears to be a reseller of a reseller, who has just told me that the server in the uk has gone down and is not contactable, exactly 6 months of 12 used on 2 and 3months of 12 on the other 2, now I'm being offered one option, a new service , no refunds, just pay again ? Not good,
Can I find the actual server from the URL given for the mag box portal, iv done a google on the name in it but nothing coming up. It just seems like i may have been conned by someone. Although, up until this the service was great. Any advise on finding the original source would be appreciated.
 
He's sold you a 6 month service and charged you for 12
and sold you short subs for the other 12m subs, why would you want to contact this particular thief again?
Do you imagine that his boss (the server owner) would listen to some unknown anonymous emails from someone he's never heard of?
move along and don't buy crap from facebook or ebay in future, forget the detective work as it will come to nothing
 
While it would seem that way(pablos post), it is not necessarily so! It could have been a server has gone down.

If you are trying to find the head honcho to report a minion, I agree, and say accept the loss.

If you are trying to find an honest reseller of the line you were on because it was good quality, that is another matter, I know someone who MIGHT be able to identify who the original company is.

If the supplier is offering you one choice only - pay in full again - then I would give him a miss, most genuine guys would offer you a discount to keep his good name, and you as a customer.

1. Did you buy from someone on here? If so, pm me details, and I will look into it for you.
2. If you want to send me a copy of the m3ui will see if my source can identify who the big boys are - and have they really gone bang, again by pm.
 
If you did find the original source there is much you can do...
Best thing to do is to find a better provider, if you are going to find another one i would recommend finding one here on Techkings.

Just go for short terms subs until confident of a genuine service.
 
Is there a way to find the site source from an m3u file that you can go in web browser and type user and pass in it logs in and see the channels and epg??Like xtream and so on sites like that.
 
Resellers usually have their own domain so finding original source is not always possible.

Usually VLC player strips back m3u that point to a ddns and will show the target URL instead. Load the m3u as a network stream in VLC, right click one of the channels and select media information. See what is listed as the url
