Hi has any one managed to get broadband suppliers own iptv channels to work with ddwrt I was given a free BT youview+ box and free BT sports as an incentive to re-sign with BT, I am running ddwrt on a netgear R7800 I can get the programme guide to appear but when I press to play the channel, no picture, I have unticked Filter Multicast and put IGMP Snooping=on but still it's a no go with BT sport, Freeview channels play ok so if any one has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Just get a dedicated iptv box and request a test here http://www.techkings.org/threads/an...ust-september-2018.141365/page-30#post-892457 I don't think you will get anything free from any broadband supplier.
I have 3 dedicated IPTV subs as it is and you are correct nothing is ever free I should have said it's something I am not paying for this year that I was last year and some people just like the satisfaction of getting things working regarding the question I posted, but from your reply I take it you don't have an answer for me on the original question, I am not trying to be rude but I would like replies to the original question asked only please.

No I don't have the answer to your original question and no offence taken at all m8.

so, if you are getting it free, from BT as an incentive, then ring BT and tell them it doesnt work.
its not much of an incentive if it doesnt work.
or, do you mean that only the sports channels are free,?
in that case, you wont get the rest, they are teasing you to take out another sub as you think you are missing something, its how they all work,

Yes the sports channels are free and they work if I plug the HH5 in but I am trying to get them to work with Netgear R7800 running ddwrt, broadband suppliers dont do support for 3rd party routers especially running custom firmware, they wont tempt me in to any other channels because I have IPTV but I see benefits to this box as a back up to record sports as sometimes there are problems with catch up on IPTV.
