Buffering

Newbie
Good evening one and all, apologies if this is in the wrong section.

Background
I'm very new to the world of IPTV, so please bear with me! I recently bought an RB9 4K box and a 12 months subscription for in excess of 800 channels from a provider I found via google, who uses the SMART IPTV app. I have since found out his name is banned on here. (May help you guess who he is!). Upon setting the box up, I was unable to play any of the channels as I kept getting the following message, "Playback error, reconnects in 3s (1/5)". He then sent me a link which I downloaded onto a USB stick and then put straight into the box. This allowed me to watch a high percentage of the channels, but did not remove the problem of buffering/freezing.

On the same day I received his equipment, I got an email stating there was a new improved box available with more channels and GUARANTEED not to freeze/buffer/glitch for an extra £30 (Limited places, etc!!!) I emailed him back stating it was beyond coincidence that I had received his email, having complained of the poor service his box gave. I gave him 2 options;
1) Refund my full payment to my bank and once done, I would return his equipment
2) Send me the new improved box and if I was happy with it, I would carry on

Quell surprise, I have had no reply to my email, but did receive another email advertising the new box priced at.....£80!!! I will give him until this Friday to reply and then will advise that I will be contacting my bank and asking them to open a case for trying to claim my money back due to mis sale of goods act or something similar. I will also advise him I will contact Facebook and ask them to remove him, to see if this will push him into refunding me at least the subscription part of my payment, allowing me to keep the box.

Moving Forward
I would like to get the following services;
All UK Sports (Sky/BT/PremierTv,Pay Per View TV, Racing UK) etc
All Eirsports channels
TG4
Film channels
VOD

As previously mentioned I have the RB9 box, Samsung TV (not Smart), I have chrome cast on my Samsung Galaxy Tab and non super fibre internet.

What options are open to me in trying to get the above? Do I need to purchase another box, can I use chrome cast, is a Firestick a better option? I'm not bothered about recording/catchup, etc.

Sorry for the war and peace essay, just wanted to give you as much information as possible!

Any questions, please do not make them too techy!! :)

whilst i appreciate your situation i don't for a minute imagine that any iptv provider would want to issue you with a test on here when you are happy enough to file a claim with your bank and complain to facebook for advertising.

then again i have been know to be wrong :unsure:

I did think of your reply whilst I composed my previous message! The reason I suggested that course of action is because he has not replied to my emails and sending me an email the same day, boasting of a superior product that will cost MORE money, is not on. If someone is able to provide an honest service with good customer service, that is all I am asking for.

The service you have purchased is not from a legitimate source.how are you going to claim back from your bank

No offence but i wouldn't like to sell you a 1p chew as what you bought is illegal but you think you have consumer rights ?

I would talk friendly with your guy and try get a refund or even keep the box and get a refund on his 12 month sub and get your own but making threats like that well you haven't a leg to stand on as shouldn't of bought it in the first place i'm sure you banks /facebook would agree .

buffering can be caused by alot of issues and alot of solutions are around the forum. Banks do not transfer money back for being missold goods, think thats more credit cards. Never buy a preloaded box with a sub, always buy a box and ask for recommendations and take out tests until youre happy

have y checked your internet tried rebooting .done anything at home to sort it out n if service so bad use box n get better supplier? ,n not a total loss

Are you new here? - on Earth I mean?
You have purchased an illegal service and you intend getting the bank etc involved?
I bought a pound of crack earlier which wasn't as good as advertised so I'm reporting the dealer to the police....do you see where i'm going with this?
The fact is, you bought iptv from some mush who knows nothing whatsoever about it, and you are dumbfounded he's trying to extract more money from you, can you blame him? - he's probably twelve.
Do your homework!!
Don't deal with anyone on social media!
Don't deal with anyone on fleabay!
The next course of action from your existing 'supplier' is for you to send the box back for 're-programming' whereupon you will never see it again and someone else will be repeating your words here next week as they'll have your box, be £100 in the neg and bemoaning the fact they've been ripped off.
Yes you have been, and the sooner you cut your losses the better, whatever you paid him has gone, you've got a £20 box, move on, and read the information supplied here free of charge, if you'd read up on it here beforehand, you'd have had a better box, over 800 channels and it wouldn't have cost you as much, moreover it would have lasted the 12 months

n resellers localy get a bad name for wanting more cash than online sellers for reasonable good service n even have phone number you can call,tech support ,, even ca;; round your house n set it up
