the sticky back windscreen mount ones , can you re use them? need mine moved from one side to the other, i know they are not expensive ,just wondering if i need one as stand by, also could i put a sticker over the aerial ? ( taxi driver & need the council table of fares sticker on my cab) , reason im asking is i just had my dash cam hard wired & when i plug it in the radio is terrible, i am assuming its because the aerial & cam cables are running down the same pillar, if my radio drops out i just unplug the cam & its fine, so need it moved

Heat it up a bit should make it come of easier
Just get it covered with something it won’t really stick too just incase

:smiley:well moved the aerial to the other side of the car windscreen & it made no difference whatsoever, as soon as i plug in the dash cam the radio goes off & on, drops out etc, once i unplug the cam dab radio is great, anyone else have this at all, its either radio or cam for me atm , i need both , the dash cam is a transcend drivepro520/radio dab pioneer, any help appreciated, oh & i ordered a new aerial as the other one snapped when putting it back after testing :rage: would ferrite clip on noise suppressors be any good?

Wonder if someone playing with wiring in an after market radio and not using proper wiring loom connections and the dashcam wired into same circuit?

the cam is hard wired with a add a fuse to a permanent live feed with original cables, the radio was fitted by halfords

Ahh them lads with all those wiring loom kits and no good hi level sound systems, did you check handbook to see if it was from a fuse box source or other?

no mate, just let them get on with it, i was working away & the wife wanted it fitted so she just went to halfords, used them before no bother actually

I have a dashcam in the van, and a DAB radio I am going to fit, I'll do a bit of experimenting and let you know how I get on.
