My Sky De is back on again after switching to a different mgcamd a few days ago, great for watching EPL matches on Sky Sport 1HD with the stadium background instead of the foreign commentary

Splitter is not for sat?

As far as I know, it is for sat, I'm going to buy a new one anyway.
Signal strength on Zgemma: 19 Astra, SNR- 66%, AGX- 73%, 13.2 dB

You cant split a sat feed with a splitter,can you give a photo to see or is it a diseqc switch multi feeds from various sats to one cable.
Each lnb feed goes to 1 tuner.

Hi.,

Diseq outside. 80 cm dish with 2 LNBs (13+19) plus sky dish 60 cm?, with the 3 cables from dishes to the Diseq, Cable from Diseq to splitter, then one cable to Mirclebox and another to Zgemma, Reason: Mirclebox was main box (now getting slow) it is now backup box with IPTV and clines. Now main box is Zgemma H9S used for IPTV and clines from another provider

I use them with no probs. 2 boxes working on 2 TVs side by side

Well l have done a lot of daft things while l was/AM learning and l still have all the boxes except one which l gave to a member on here, which was working when it left here. I have one box which is not fully working from new which l could not return as the seal was broken when l discovered the fault.

Seals can be broken if fitting internal hdd and taking care.

Can you split the signal from a satellite dish?
You can't connect a satellite dish to two receivers simply by using a splitter box. The problem is that the receiver sends a signal to control which band and polarity the pick up head (called an L.N.B. ... If you connect two receivers to the same dish, the two control signals will conflict.

As long as both receivers are not in use at the same time, you can use a priorty switch, i've used this on a motorized dish for years.

Connect the longer length off cable to the
Master side off a priority swich the other
Cable from the recieve to the slave side
This might be better than manual ab switch
