Hi, Thanks for all the past help, I am having dificultygetting good iptv. it keep stuttering and buffering. I have 70mbps comming into house and approx 50mbps-70 mbpsgetting on wifi ,
I have plugin E2speedtest which shows I am only getting 1.4 mbps.
Is there a way I could speed this helps, It is getting through to the ZgemmaH7s via a ethernet plug adapter which is working fine on tv,sky, xbox etx.

I have EE router bright box which I have looked at the setting . I tried doing a port forward port 5000-5003 (not sure if I should have or not)?

Any help would be great,
I have tried 3 test iptv providers which all are the same. very very stuttery every 1-2 seconds.
Thanks
MArk

If using powerlines adaptors are they plugged direct into a socket and not an extension lead completely power box off and reboot router have you any firewall settings turned on on the router if so turn them off

I have a 75mb line and on the speed test on my zgemma I get 10mb
Doesnt matter at all unless your getting buffering problems
Yes, Still having major buffering issues,
  • tried the following 4 trial iptv
  • tried restarting router and box,
  • clean install of atv no skins etc
  • changing ethernet cables
  • pulling my hair out
are there any other ideas that i may be missing, the box is brand new from zgemma
thanks

  • changing ethernet cables (new cables and reset all router and power plugs) waiting for a long cable to try straight into router

I am now getting 3mbps but still very stuttery.

Thanks, Im not sure what m3u is .I had to ssh a file over via my mac and terminal, I will check email from the iptv trial.I have now got good mpbs to the box via one straight ethernet cable.50mbps I have restart everything. it is a lot better but still stuttering, It must be a setting somewhere, I will start from scratch do a new blank build, and try again.
Thanks again.

Speed with ethernet plugs can vary depending on the speed they can handle 200mbps, 500mbps etc. How old the wiring in your house is, the older the more speed you'll lose... They basically break the Internet down to a form that can be sent through wiring then try to recreate the Internet at the end plug. They're not great even in the newest of houses, sometimes even WiFi works better.

Thanks for all replies , after reflashing from scratch , new ethernet cabel by passing the silly power socket things all seams pretty good.

My next problem is to get the epg to work via the iptv.
