epg

Hi
Since I have started configuring EPG downloads on my H9S (sat ch's only) all the sudden I am getting loads of Boquets I did not even have before when I first made a channels scan on 13.0/19.2/28.2E. I have now 4 Movistar Boquets, spelled even wrongly like Movistrat but the thing is that in these 3 extra boquets there is only one or 2 channels which I think are in the original anyway. I have tried to move these channels the original boquet through the receiver menu but does not work.
My platform is latest Vix and boquet was downloaded from the receiver interface download plugins menu (not sure which one but I might have downbloaded more than one)
My questions now are, did this happen due to wrong plugin or perhaps I downloaded more than I needed?
(Edit) How do I delete these extra boquests? I tried through the receiver menu but it does not remove these. Are these extra boquets downloaded again automatically because of the new plugins?
I have tried removing unwanted channels in 3 different ways (receiver menu, webif and channelizer desktop app) butchannels removed are still there.
Should I remove these plugins first and then start to remove unwanted boquets and channels ?
Is there any method outside the 3 mentioned which works faster and neater. I really miss my NdF editor with my old TM, was so much tidier and easier to handle.
Sorry for too many questions.
Hope you can give me some advise.

Channelizer is the way I removed the unwanted German bouquets!! You have to make sure you press the up arrow reader after! Check abm to make sure the ticks are not allowing it to reinstall them when it rescans!! Then reboot!!

Thanks, what's abm sorry?
Also, while reading now, it looks like you can use Dreambox Control Center, atleast on the Zgemma S2, would it be a matter of receiver model or image? Is DCC compatible with Vix? I kind of prefer the interface to Channelizer.

Yes dcc is ok but I don't think it will do anything different, Abm autobouquet maker!!

Excellent, the reason why I prefer it is because Channelizer looks very washed out and vague in a sense, I prefer old fasioned software, beside it seem to be features locked out. Can't wait to try. Thanks for the info in the meantime.

I have been trying to follow these steps but I am unsure/unfamiliar with the options, you said "press the up arror reader after, where is this? on channelizer or you mean the remote? and "after" which step? Then check ABM to make sure there's no otions to reinstall the boquets when it rescans.
So basically as I have removed the EPG and ABM is this still supposed to happen, is there a default ABM to stop scanning channels as you just said?
So to recap:
1 "press the up arror reader after, where is this on Channelizer or through on the remote?
2 The above step to be performed "after", I am not sure whether you referring to a previous step and what this would be.
3 Does VIX have a default EPG or ABM which does the same job as the previous plugins I have removed because they keep recovering the same channels and boquets I have manually removed?
Thanks

you can from abm tick which to keep and which to hide, when it scans it will automatically scan and reinstall the bouquets, without looking at box I think you press menu when in, but don't quote me!! For iptv epg you need to enter epg importer press blue for source tick what is applicable xmltv and your provider, green to save then yellow to manually scan, make sure in settings that scan is enabled.
Echanneliser if you remove any sections you have to click on the up arrow in right corner to read and complete task ln box.

How is it possible that after checking that I have no ABM installed yet, I still get these Boquests and channels reappear everytime I restart my box. Is this something that an automated feature of the EPG?

I have even started from scratch but this time I have saved good part of the channel list under E-Channilizer ( So far removed about 2000 ch's between 2 satellites)
Thing is whenever I use E-Channelizer to upload the saved channels to the box, no matter what and I get part of the channels that I have removed, not all.
I am not with OpenATV6.3 + Wooshbuild and I cant find an ABM preinstalled, unless there is one working in background but still cant see it in the list of the installed plugins. I was of the impression that perhaps the EPG can do the same trick? Where would that be if there is one installed? I was ager to twick the settings as you advised as to deselect the Boquets I dont want to see in my channel list or EPG and most of those deleted they still popup. Also; I do you delete Boquets with E-Channelizer? I have tried with Webif but I am quiet confused on how to achieve this, only able to remove channels and whenever I try to move a channel in another boquet no changes appear at all.

Webif wont remove them as they will reappear after scan!! Abm on mine is in menu set up tuners and scanning, I think you need to have a play with the ABM settings.
In echannelizer bouquets that have nothing in them usually have a red mark against them, I just delete click reader up and exit!!

Thanks, I found it now but I guess that Wooshbuild added it as when in plain OpenATV I could not find this anywhere or perhaps just been blind.
I will have a play with ABM and hopefully wont bother again
👍
