Channels are different from Sly

When I type in a channel number that you would expect it goes to a random channel.

For example I know sky news should be 501 (which the epg actually shows as well) but I have to type 47 to get it. 501 actually takes me to sky sports 5 (actually 440 sky sports 5)!!!

I'm sure I could use the old sky numbers before a dud updated a few months ago, but I can't find info in this, just the usual people having 102 and 101 channel swop issues.

I was talking to another guy earlier on another forum who uses Openvix, and he had the same issue as you. Not sure if there is some bug or something. Have you tried a rescan ? Could also look at re configuring your epg

It was perfect until today. Have rescan ned with auto bouquet and deleted and re downloaded cross epg.

If i hear anything new i`ll get back to you :) Maybe when it updates it will sort itself out.

is this just user's running Vix i am running openATV and my channel numbers are fine 501 get's me sky news and all my other channel numbers are same as sly numbers

I`m good with ipab also foxy, i think the above posters are using Vix and Woosh, here is the latest thing i`ve seen for a Vix fix, and no ! i`m not a poet lol.

To get your channel numbers back: First thing to do is: go to boquet list, Menu, Configuration>And set Alternative numbering mode to NO and OK then, Menu
Setup
Service searching
Autobouquets maker
Providers
Change create main bouquet to NO, then Save and then Start Scan, once it's finished, back out completely and then press epg button and then you should get this on EPG

well i am using wooshbuild on openATM and AutoBouquets E2, I just done a nit scan and all my channel numbers are still ok, Hope you all find out what's wrong ?

I'm using openatv and wooshbuild v5.003 on my h2s

i just looked and can see i have not updated my openATV sence 7/6/16 maybe this is why my numbers are still ok ?

They list perfect in the epg it's only when you type the channel number in

yes i get you, when i push the number 501 on my remote it go's to sky news so i know mine is all good

Something on your box is messed up as typing the right channel number for the channel works as it always did.

Press the TV button from full screen TV and make sure you don't have a bouquet above "All channels" or "28.2E UK Bouquets" depending on what your main bouquet is called. If you have a bouquet(s) above the main channel it will screw your channel numbers and will need to move it/them down.

Having the following would break my channel numbers
