Ive just realised that i do not have a network port upstairs in the bedroom

is there any way around this? ive heard that I can get some kind of plug that act as a network port by using the internal wiring of the house?

help??!!?!??!
 
Yes, they are called homeplugs, my opinion, no need to go for the more expensive ones, all that is necessary is the 200mbps versions.
 
Get pass through ones
So you can still use the plug. Cost more but they say they work better in the wall than on an extension. I do it and it's grand

excellent, has anyone had any issues with using these?

also, im just about to buy a new 1yr line that states that i can use 2 x twin tuner boxes (so 4 lines i suppose) - anyone had any issues with these or is it best to get a couple of lines, one for each box?
 
I'll back up exactly what wheelo and siilver said.
For the amount of data you need, absolutely no need for expensive ones.
I appreciate I'm in danger of sounding as if I'm sponsored by My Memory but I always get their BT passthru ones at just £21 ish delivered. Never had a problem in any of my installs with these.
