A couple of questions.

I am currently running with Wooshbuild's image using a H2S but with only one LNB due to problems with the other LNB.

All is going very well and I am impressed. However, I have a couple of issues/problems that may not be related to this particular build and are just related to the H2S.

(1) I use a Wales Custom region so that I can watch rugby on S4C - channel 227. Unfortunately, all I get is a blank picture. All other channels are fine and have a signal strength figure of over 90%. S4C, has a figure of 0%. Any ideas why? I cannot fin another channel that doesn't work. Just this one!!!!!

(2) If ever I power off the H2S using the switch at the back or at the mains, I seem to lose all the EPG information. Obviously, overnight it re-syncs at 04:35. Any ideas why?

I'm not sure about the custom issue but don't power off box just put it in standby so it can update epg it won't if you power off

Another thing that I've noticed is that I get a lot of screen freezing on BT sports both HD and SD, occasional screen freezing on Sky sports but nothing on any terrestrial channel. Is this due to signal strength, the box config or cline?

imho, if your internet is sound, your signal rate is good, I would be looking at my connection. Might be worth while requesting a c or n line from the forum to eliminate any possible issues

There's a setting for epg for automatic refresh but you shouldn't loose your bouquets.
Menu, setup, system, epg, settings and turn automatic refresh to yes

As for the bt sports channels I have a similar issue with comedy central at night what I realised if I'm watching it in entertainment the ecm numbers seem high (pressing OK twice I get numbers and my server details)
But watching it on all channels bouquet it's fine

Do a software update.

Do a fresh autobouquetsmaker scan.

If still not working do a manual scan (not ABM). Press TV button to bring up channels. Press green button to open satelittes. S4C will be in the list there.

You are not saving your EPG to your USB/HDD.
Menu...seup..epg..settings



press left on EPG location (it might take up to 10 seconds to change). change it to your external device. If it wont change. reboot your box and go straight in to this menu..then change it.

Unfortunately you have an overcrowded server if this is happening. Contact your provider or use some one else.
