a program to stream from pc to smart tv?

hi ther i dont know if i post this in the right forum if not soz

i am try to stream a mkv file to my bush smart tv

tryied windows media play but it does not play mkvs or mp4 divx and avis stream no probs with wmp

i am on win 8 and the buit in player does not play send to my tv

vls does not stream to tvs or i can not see how to do it

so is there any free programs that will do this ?

Assuming your TV supports mkvs & mp4 it sounds like a codec issue on your PC?

Download & install the full K-Lite Codec Pack on your PC & see if it sorts it

I use an android app called bubbleupnp which allows you to select the source and destination so I can play from any device to any device. I can select a video on my tablet and play to tv, pc, laptop, phone as long as they are on same wifi network
