really? that bad?... i should of got the hint when i had a look at the kryptview section, i.e. missing channels, scrambled lol... but yeah I've got a vu+solo 2 and i want to watch the hd channels again lol.
If you want HD again, you have to go the cable route - but I think the Kryptview is on it's way out - it has had a greater than expected life RIP :)
A good combo box maybe, depends entirely on your budget what you get, if you have a "sky is the limit budget" ask Cactikid what he recommends, small budget, I think it is more like the zgemma boxes, have a read through the cable section and the zgemma section

Thanks and I'm looking for something like the solo2 i.e. record and have hdd installed as well as openvix etc... budget is around 200.
there are usb tuners for the solo2 but they are dreadful lol

I've had two of these for a while now. The service is as it always was even with A780, A750 ............ The main channels function perfectly with the occasional outage. Just use free view for the others! Kv have provided a good service for a very long time. zgemma also look remarkably similar to a phoenix hatsoff
