Exams Accountancy paper missing pages
five to eight

More than 200 students in 16 schools in south Dublin received an accountancy paper that was missing four of its nine pages.

The State Examinations Commission has apologised for what it called a production error.

The schools contacted the SEC and arrangements were made to fax and email the missing section.

In the meantime, students were advised to begin with what they had and they were given additional time to make up for the error.

The SEC said that its data shows the amount of errors this year is broadly in line with errors in previous years and that mistakes like today's have occurred in previous years.
