what model of router is it if its the HG523a

log in to the router as follows from a webpage on your computer
192.168.1.1

username and password are both admin

click on advanced

it will say are you sure click ok

then click on advanced

then click firewall

and then select firewall level and select disable

then click on submit

and it will be off

hope this helps

I used TT no bother. Disabled their security through my account if I mind right.

If you enable Samba on your box and reboot laptop/pc, you should be able to drag drop via network connections.

SkyQ picons for WooshBuild are already there for download in the WooshBuild section of plugins.

No need to FTP anything.

I've already got picon folder. I've installed it along time ago on my boxes it's 2 mates that live miles away that I got probs with.ive read that the hg633 routers firewall can't be switch off hence filezilla cant connect and i get errors I read you have to start messing with port fowarding which I know nothing about.ive used filezilla a fair bit and never had probs with any isp routers only these talktalk hg633.

OK it's just that what I Google looks like you have to set up port forwarding in the dreaded hg633 super router.there words not mine
