wouldn't it be interesting to see a transfer window for managers, it might make clubs show a bit more loyalty to a manager and not just fire at the first sign of trouble.

i remember that they started to treat him very badly, dee. the whole director of football thing doesn't work and an owner that tinkers in teamsheet selection or transfers in or out other than to finance them is a disaster waiting to happen, you can get a chairman who is a real fan and doesn't know he's interfering (a al mike ashley) or cold headed businessmen who only see the business side ( abromavich or possibly citys own arabs) what is needed is somewhere in the middle.
