Apple replacement iphone 4

Hi Guy's Wondering if anyone can answer this. when you go to Apple to replace your phone (smashed screen) they will replace like for like for £119 question is, the damaged phone is on orange network.. will the replacement be locked to the same network or will the replacement phone come unlocked.

i would think unlocked as it is the network provider that locks it to there network

Im sure it would be factory unlocked.

they come from apple unlocked but they lock to the first network sim you put in it. I know this as i had a replacement iP4 but when i sold it cex i assumed it was unlocked but when they tested it was locked to my normal network.
