Assigning Sky UK Channel Numbers With IPTV Streams

Hi everyone,

Dont know if anyone can help me, the problem Im having:

I have an m3u file that was provided by my iptv provider (currently testing) and I have managed to figure out how to add the m3u to my enigma 2 box (octagon sf8hd) using e-channellizer. I have also managed to get the epg working. Now what I want to do is assign the sky sports 1 HD stream from the IPTV bouquet to the main channel list I have (all channels). E.g. so when I type in 401 it should pick up the sky sports 1 hd stream instead of the sky sports 1 hd sat feed which doesnt work.

Is this possible?

Of course it is
And has been covered many times on the site
Just means you can't update your channel list at any time is it will remove your work
You can do it simply in echannelizer or idreamx easy enough
Just copy the channel over the to the bouquet and away you go


If it was me I would set it up so you could just type in 2401 or so
 
Thanks for the reply, I couldn't see a similar post with a solution, could you redirect me if there is one please?

When you say I can't update my channel list, do you mean using abm?

So you're saying use e channellizer, drag the iptv channel to the main bouquet and then delete the sat one?
 
No idea where the threads are. I just know it has been covered
Yea updating ABM or abe2
As it will remove old bouquets and replace it with the new ones

Yea just copy and paste it in the standard bouquet and delete the old one


But I wouldn't bother, as said
What I would do is

Copy the bouquets, rename them and add in the iptv channels to them
Then you would have the bouquets in order but rather than 101 it would be 2101
