When you say you tried with another box, is that using the same wire as you are using with this box? Or are you saying you have another box in another room?
 
If you perform a manual scan, single satellite, no to network, how many services do you find?

As final confirmation, are you able to test box on another dish ( not a sky Q)

Satellite = 28.2E
Network... = no
Clear... = yes
Only... = yes
9 Press GREEN Scan & wait to complete
10 Press GREEN OK

Network Scan reads the NIT (Network Information Table) that contains all the provider info. Network Scan searches transponders in satellites.xml and in the network table.

Now that you have copied and pasted that, do you realise the downside of doing so for someone investigating reception issues?

Yes of course, the Network Scan option is not essential for 28.2E, but for me it is like a Blind Scan for Hotbird, 19.2E etc.
 
It is counter productive for someone trying to diagnose reception issues. Services will be added that OP cannot receive. In fault finding mode you want to limit variables and keep things as controlled as possible.

h9 useable tuner is LNB 1 tuner A try change lnb to 45 n scan if h9s only takes 1 lead so check leads n hopefully ur using a normal sat sky q sat lnb dont work
 
These boxes would drive you mad as best to show a photo of cable connected to box, google has many for a H9S.
Wonder what version of abm is on box?
