Cable Backup Manager and Image Manager ?

Can someone tell me the difference betweek the backup manager and Image manager when using Open Vix. WHat do they both backup ?

backup manager backs your settings up, so you could flash a newer image but then restore your settings to save setting up again, image manager backs the whole image up if you need to reflash it
