BB signal strength for kv box

Im new an getting up to 80% on a signal strenghth from my VM BB. someone said if ur a/c is for BB only an no Tv in package, they drop the signal down to the user, sometines making the coverage eratic . any truth in this. wondering if i shud add TV to my VM.

i dont believe it makes any real diffrence i dont have a TV sub only BB altough it is 80mb and run virgin and sky boxes in the VM BB line without any issues. i also have 2 KV boxs at another home with a 20mb VM BB line and no TV sub they show signal strength at only 60% and they also work fine. a TV sub will not cure the issues of freeezing and glitching this is more likely a nationwide server issue or if not server side then a local setup issue possibly cabling or spliiter

thanks i will look at the cabling tonight an see if its split, i think it may be split. thanks for reply.
