Best IPTV set up..? Help please

Hi all

I've been trying to weigh up the best set up to get and considering the new football season is coming I best get sorted.

I used to run set up through my open box before it went dark. As a quick fix I added IPTV through webtv on the box but the interface isn't the best and with no EPG it isn't really user friendly.

Options wise... I have a sky dish and have NTL cables coming in to the house which I could connect to.
I don't mind buying a new box... been thinking ZGemma box? (Like the sly skin option but not a must) Just wondering what people thoughts/preferences are.

I've read quite a few differing points on here so wanted to get it right... need to set up about 4/5 boxes for family/friends.

I'm not up to date with all the lingo but can follow instructions well to set up.

Thanks in advance!

Why would you say cable? Quality? Less chance of freezing?

Cable is still available via Card sharing (for how long nobody knows) as Damien pointed out if you want to watch quality 3pm Saturday football then IPTV is without doubt the best route to go down :)

Ah I see!

Watching the vid think the ZGemma/Enigma2 route might be the best... set up looks decent and option to record.
Might even be able to get rid of my Q subscription and save some money.

If you have a supplier contact them and they will swap you over using its virtual Mac address, if not, request thread is your friend :)
Excel lent video mate very clear and understandable I have a question would I have to get intouch with my provider to use xtream editor as I just have the plugin as I want my subscription linked to my tv guide like in your video on the zgemma box I'm using a h2s box

You can use suls e2m3ubouquet script to link your channels to epg data... A bit of work required if your supplier doesn't provide a script to sort it all out for you...

Anyway, back to the original question...

I personally recommend E2 boxes, as getting a decent box, will allow you the best of everything... For this, I'd recommend the Mutant HD51 box. Great little box. You can install sat tuner, cable tuner or a combination of both. IPTV will run well on the box, and you can even install Kodi for times that you need something extra...

Great all round box in my opinion...
