The 2025 Betfred World Matchplay will take place from July 19-27 at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.

The iconic summer tournament will see 32 of the world's top stars battling it out across nine days for the Phil Taylor Trophy and £800,000 in prize money.

The tournament will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK, through the PDC's worldwide broadcast partners including DAZN and Viaplay, and on PDCTV (excluding subscribers based in the UK, Germany, Austria & Switzerland).
 
The race to qualify for the 2025 Betfred World Matchplay continues this week, as the PDC ProTour returns with a treble-header in Leicester.

The latest instalment of ProTour action will take place at the Mattioli Arena from June 17-19, as 128 players compete for the £15,000 top prize in Players Championships 17-19.

There are just five events remaining before the Betfred World Matchplay qualification cut-off, with the 32-player field set to be confirmed following the conclusion of Players Championship 21 on July 9.
The table below displays the latest standings in the race to the Betfred World Matchplay, which will take place at Blackpool's Winter Gardens from July 19-27, televised live on Sky Sports and through the PDC's global broadcast partners.

The 2025 Betfred World Matchplay gets underway on Saturday, as Luke Humphries chases back-to-back titles in the showpiece event of the darting summer.

The latest edition of the £800,000 event will see reigning champion Humphries headlining a star-studded 32-player field at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens, which also includes seven other World Champions
Following the completion of the first round, the second round will take place on Tuesday July 22 and Wednesday July 23, with the quarter-finals staged on Thursday July 24 and Friday July 25.

The semi-finals will be held on Saturday July 26, before the final takes place on the evening of Sunday July 27, following the fourth edition of the Betfred Women’s World Matchplay.

Littler is the 2/1 pre-tournament favourite with title sponsor Betfred, ahead of his great rival Humphries at 4/1.

Price and Rock are priced at 8/1 and 14/1 respectively, with Van Gerwen and Anderson currently 18/1 to repeat former glories at the Winter Gardens.
