Birmingham confirmed this afternoon that the Scot Alex McLeish tendered his resignation by email .
His motives for walking out on a contract with two years left to run and set to earn him just shy of £4 million have not been revealed by either himself or Birmingham, but they have automatically been interpreted as the prelude to a move to Villa,
what a ****,to jump ship to our rivals villa and to do it by e-mail thanks alot Alex,:crying football:

Just had a little read up on that. This made me chuckle,

"Of course, they could argue that anyone who got Birmingham relegated twice in the space of four years should be seen as something of a cult hero at Villa Park."
