Blink cameras not recording to local storage

Hi, anyone able to help with blink cameras and doorbell.
I have stopped the subscription service and set up my system for local storage. I worked ok (but slow) for a while but now has stopped recording clips. I still get the alerts and can view live feed but it does not record to the usb although it say usb is connected. I have contacted amazon for support but they want access to my system and I am not comfortable with that.
 
Not familiar with these cameras but are you sure your USB is not full so is unable to store any recordings. I would rule the USB out first. Maybe format and setup from scratch, make sure its still working and not faulty.

You could allow remote access for support and then change your password afterwards and possibly block remote access in the settings.
 
Yes I checked the usb, I will probably do as you say change password and block access after they have sorted it.
