On my adsl dial up connection through a smallish ISP I can log onto all the torrent sites and adult sites and dodgy sites wirh ease.
When trying to connect to these sites with 4G they are all unavailable? Is this a normal thing?
Was hoping to get FTTP in a couple of months but might give it a swerve now or will a VPN be the answer?

I can't get on to any torrent sites with VM broadband unless I use a VPN.
The Opera browser has a built in one that you can just switch on and off.

100% this

Can't get on any public trackers due to the block.

But some of the big private trackers and warez sites can get through without vpn.

Opera as you say is good in that in bypasses the blocks and has 4 main locations to choose from. So useful.
 
Most isp are blocking torrent sites now by law.
I still can get on 1337x with no vpn as downloaded all sims games for pc for lad. havnt tried any others as really don't need to download torrent as there's different ways for movies and show downloads

yes have heard that mate but im with an isp thats more business than domestic customers and have never been blocked from any site.
if i can't get my escorts, drugs, porn and betting sites as well as torrents im screwed! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
 
If you use a VPN you can get on the official pirate bay/1337x etc sites, without one you can't.
You can access proxy sites without VPN but they tend to be full of adverts, viruses etc
