Box won't flash

Hi,

I've been using a Zgemma H.2S with Wooshbuild and Slyk HD for the last few months and regrettably selected 'Factory Reset'. When I've switched the box off and on again it won't boot. All that happens is the channels count upwards on the front of the box and keeps looping.

I have then re-downloaded the latest Zgemma file along with the original Ccam file and put it on a USB stick to re-flash but it won't - it just keeps looping through the channels. I have the USB in the front port.

I have also tried a different USB stick as well as a low level format, to no avail.

Does anyone know how I might be able to recover the box (for freeview only) or have I turned it into an expensive black brick?

Any help much appreciated.
 
so you have turned the box of at the rear
pluged in the usb
remove the rear usb
turned the box on at the rear
pressed the front power twice until it says flash

yea?

then what is your file layout like on your usb
is the zgemma folder in the root of the usb?
 
Ahh, I haven't pressed the front power button twice, it's always just flashed automatically. I'll try that now, thanks.
 
Woosh you may not have to. Then your have a problem with the USB or file layout

If it stock firmware you need to press the button
 
Tried pressing the power button twice but still no dice. Starting to think both USB's are faulty; going to buy another one to check.
 
You can buy a sandisk 8gb 4gb from tesco and Argos for a few quid
Handy to have, and from a good place
