Hi All, I'm looking to adjust my settings to help with glitches etc, I'm not sure what I need to adjust I.E parental controls etc etc, any advice would help, I have tried a few searches hopefully I'm in the correct TK area, thanks in advance

I'm using a BT smart Hub, which I think is a 6???? Anyway, I have disabled smart setup on the router and then switched off parental controls, which is done via logging into BT account online. If there is anything else, I would be grateful for any advice also.
 
The hub6.has a completely different firmware installed You disable all the shields I know people who.have had problems with speeds and using t.p links to stream It looks like b.t want you to buy there link's to work with the hub personally I would use the openreach hub never had any.problems

Bt internet sucks.See if you can set up their router as modem only and use a secondary router to run everything and that should bypass any protection.I have used this method on the new Virgin as they block everything.The best internet for non blocking is Sky.

Is there any router you recommend to use?
 
i have vofafone bb.. The wifi is grim but does not block ie: torrents or iptv.
Changed the router due to wifi issues.

No vodafone isnt the best bb.. But it suits my needs..
 
Agree mate was talking to a b.t engineer and he told me on the q t that they are having problems with speeds on the b.t hub 6
