Buying advice SKYBOX F5

Hi guys

I found this forum while searching about the SKYBOX F5. I'm very interested in buying one but my heads starting to hurt with all the information, also there seems to be problem's with the signal quality in some boxes you buy off ebay. These were the boxes I was looking at l, so was wondering if anyone who has recently bought one and has a good line, could possibly give me some recommendations?

I wouldnt bother either as they are too much of an unknown quantity, you never know what your buying and if it does glitch you will never be sure if its the box or the server.
 
Ive been happy with my 2 f5s's I have at home. Its no Sly+ box but unless ur willing to pay for a vu2duo then I think they deliver a good budget box. And ive bought 20 off amazon all off 4 or 5 sellers that have all been 100% genuine. But just my opinion. And im a bit of a noob.
 
Too late just bought one :-( Just bought the box no line. Can anyone recommend me a good stable line please.
 
you will not normally get a glitch free service as the hardware is not up to it. however, there will always be the odd exception to the rule.for a server ask in the relevant section.
 
my skybox and my lads f5s runs great no probs and very slow internet had a dreambox b 4 constant glitches well happy nowlolhappy daysROFL and oh yer it was ebay

I have been given a test line code but as I have just got box I haven't a clue how to get it into my box...Can anyone help please
 
i got my box already set up but if youve got a line sorted they should give you info if not check links for cccam insalasion its more or less same as chan update i am told
 
it is something like this
network and settings/camms setup/Ccam client setup where you can upgrade via usb or enter manualy by pressing manage config files.
 
Right this is a new box and I havent touched a thing lol So I have just managed to get the Camds setup on [press 8888] and menu has appeared. I have added the Cccam.cfg file and it is active. Now what? Box says NoCH on front and I cant enter the menu for Channels to edit or add favorites.
 
you need to put thattached file on a usb

1 goto your tools menu
2. add file by usb something like that
3. first line you need to pick misc fuiles
4 add the file
5 select upgrade or add cann ot remember the exact wordings been over a year since had a skybox

Think I have it sussed, I didn't have any satellites selected, so just downloaded a channel list and it seems to be working. If in future I wanted a better box what would be the best ones to look out for?
