Cable VM - Only some channels work?

Hi guys

I have brought a Zgemma H2H and set it up as per dayers2014 image. Installed a C line (Cable) in CCCam

All working fine and then after couple days use some the channels either glitch, premium and fta some channels go blank. Sometimes all FTA ones go blank and then sometimes Sky premiums ones only work? Weird!

I checked F connector - all fine, all cabling from zgemma box to cable entry from outside, swapped cables - no help, restarted router (connected via ethernet home plugs - no help.. Still same issue

I can only assume its weak singal or crappy line.

Anyone had this issue or can help?
 
A signal issue would usually caause pixellation / lines across screen etc. - i'd say it sounds more like your line provider.

Remember too that on cable, only the SD versions of channels 1-5 are FTA.
 
I have also noticed my BT net conection is shit, speed tests howing 3/4mb dl speed when i got infinity. Changing line provider did help greatly. Pretty much no issue issue, 1/10 times I get issues now.
 
Some cable receivers can be problematic with signal issues displaying small glitches across the screen on certain channels.
Always make sure your using good quality cable and splitters.
Speed wise 3 or 4 is fine.
It's stability that's important.
Have g00gle for broadband quality monitoring tool and test your current provider.

Switching to N line in mgcamd helped. I am waiting for my BT contract to end at the end of month and switching to VM, 100mb
